Reverend Denis Tameh Ngabir

Fr. Denis Tameh Ngabir was born in a little village called Mbinon in the Central African country of Cameroon. He is the 8th child in a family of 9; 7 boys and 2 girls. He was baptized as an infant and confirmed at age nine. He attended St. Martin De Porres catholic primary school and St. Elisabeth catholic primary school in Mbinon. As an altar boy, he felt called to the priesthood and so after his primary education he proceeded to the Saint Aloysius Minor Seminary, Kumbo. After seven years, he was admitted in to the Saint Thomas Aquinas Major Seminary in the year 2006. In 2014 he was ordained a priest for the diocese of Mamfe in Cameroon. Fr. Denis then served as parochial vicar in Divine Mercy Parish in Nkongle and St. Joseph Parish in Akwaya. He is currently studying at the Catholic University of America and serving as a resident priest at Saint James.
