WHO ARE WE? Ordinary
people who seek to live our lives in accordance with the
Spirit in a full and fruitful manner, and who strive to
freely witness to the reality and effectiveness of being
a disciple of Christ Jesus. As a faith community, we gather
together to (1) give praise, thanks, honor to God, and
(2) to build up the Body of Christ as brothers and sisters.
PRAYER: We gather weekly
to grow in holiness through prayer, reading Scripture,
praise and worship to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
In addition to our weekly meetings, we offer additional
prayer support through a Prayer Wheel of continual prayer
for special circumstances.
COMMUNITY: As a community,
we gather together a few times each year for picnics,
holiday parties, and other activities.
SERVICE: We provide
assistance to each other and to the community through
participation in outreach programs such as, food assistance
at Thanksgiving, sponsored families at Christmas, and
meals for the Falls Church Shelter.
SCRIPTURE: The Holy
Scripture is used extensively in our weekly prayer meetings
for reflection.
RETREAT: Promotes
an annual retreat for Charismatic Catholics.
SEMINAR: Annually sponsors
a Holy Spirit Seminar to witness to a fuller life of discipleship
in Christ Jesus.
