FEAST OF ST. JAMES

Come and join St. James Parish for the Feast of St. James. Mass will be celebrated on July 24th at 7:00 p.m. There will be no 8:30 or 12:00 (Noon) Mass so that the Parish community can be united at one Mass. Mark your calendars to join your fellow parishioners for the Vigil of our Patron’ s Feast and an Ice Cream Social after Mass.

BLOOD DRIVE

Mark your calendar!! July 26th St. James will sponsor a Blood Drive in Heller Hall. Parish Nursing will be available July 18 and 19 to make your appointment. Remember… Blood Saves Lives.

NATURAL FAMILY PLANNING

Natural Family Planning Classes: The Couple to Couple League begins an NFP series of three classes at St. James Parish on August 1st at 2:00 p.m. Contact The Baumerts at (703) 652-4637 or nfp@stjamescatholic.org to register.

SOCIAL OUTREACH

Gift Card for All Occasions - Our family and friends all have birthdays, anniversaries, etc. that leave us wondering what to give the person who really does not need another “thing.” Consider making a monetary donation of your choosing to the St. James Social Outreach Committee in their name. You will receive a lovely gift card to present them, which tells about your donation and lists the programs that it will support. ST. JAMES CHURCH FAMILY ALBUM

We are excited to announce that we are having a new St. James Church Family Album published. Busson Portrait Directories is scheduled to come the first two weeks in September for portrait sittings. For those families with children returning to college in the Fall, we have arranged for two additional sittings during the summer, — Tuesday 7/21 and Wednesday 7/22.

Please take advantage of this opportunity to be included in our directory! All families who are photographed will receive absolutely free an 8/10 portrait of the directory pose and a Church Family Album featuring all participating families. There is NO OBLIGATION to purchase any portraits.

ATTENTION: Re-registration forms for Religious Education are now past due. If you are new to the parish or have a kindergartener or 1st grader and need to register, please call the Religious Education Office at 703-533-1182 x104 for a form.
