  • Presentation of the Lord

Candlemas - Monday, February 2 Since the early centuries, Christians have marked the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord by blessing candles for use in church and home. This year, we will bless candles during our daily Masses at 6:30am, 8:30am, and 12pm. Those who celebrate Mass will be able to take a candle home to use during the year for special celebrations, devotions and feast days (one per family, please). We will keep the seasons of the year together in the Light of Christ, a light no darkness can overpower.
